Your Brand: It's About YOU!
It's in YOUR head. It's in YOUR dreams. It's YOUR challenge. It's YOUR reward. You live your business 24/7 and it IS personal - it's about YOU.
No one else knows exactly what's in your heart to accomplish. When you're working toward your passion, sacrificing short-term pleasures for long-term gains, creating your 'Brand' of product or service, you decide which road to take...and even with your "internal guidance system" on, you'll change course from time-to-time.

If you understand that your "product line" may change, but your character, reputation and self-awareness will be with you your whole life, then the journey becomes a test of your faith based on your belief system, rather than a hunt for something to sell.

The Reward is Inside
John Kalench, the late Founder of "Millionaires In Motion", told Daniel that every member he spoke with agreed that the reward of the struggle to succeed wasn't the six zeros in the bank balance, but "WHO they became in the process" of earning it. In fact, the financial freedom they created simply "made them more of who they were before". and "gave them more opportunities to express their gratitude".

No one will be rewarded as much as you will by succeeding. That personal and business 'success' is often decided by:

  • Your confidence and belief system about YOU and your PURPOSE.
  • How your customers FEEL about your product or service and cause.

The Value of a Personal Brand
Its been said that; "Life is what happens between your plans". A personal Brand can help a great deal when 'life' happens. A solid Brand can help you overcome:

  • Your personal faith being shaken
  • A competitor stealing 'YOUR' idea
  • Injury or illness or set-backs

Oprah Winfrey was the first African-American woman to become a billionaire. She started out with less than nothing; "suffering abuse and molestation..." Click info below for more...
MaryKay Ashe ""My mother's words became the theme of my childhood," she said. "Before long, I began asking myself, 'Why are you theorizing about a dream company? Why don't you just start one?'" Click below for more...
Martha Stewart "I read constantly. I'm reading lots of different books. I was drawn to what I call my mentors. All different kinds of people fall into this group. I'm always on the lookout for those good, simple solutions to everyday problems." Click below for more...

Branding creates an image, gives you a blueprint to work with, it attracts customers and gives you a story to tell.

It compliments your mission and it is what helps future clients choose one product or service over another similar competitor. I think it is essential. You need to give people as much reason as possible to choose YOU. More...

    Maria Sanford
As a child sitting in my grandmother's kitchen in Mexico City, the smell of rich spices and fresh produce all around me, I would watch her lovingly create incredible
homemade meals. Salsa verde was something she made almost everyday. So many precious memories were made with us around the table enjoying delicious food and each other. This brings on such a feeling of security and joy. I wanted to keep that feeling and share it with my own family. That's what our Brand is about.

    Question.
Can you relate to the PROCESS of Branding?

    Confidence not Stuff
Self-Branding is about having confidence to do the best you can with what you have at the time, not about having what you think you need before having the confidence to do something. It's about being at peace that you've done what you can do to create momentum while letting your destiny materialize, AND still trusting that the bills will get paid.

    7 Points on Branding

    1) A 30 Second Sound-Bite
Think about communicating in an elevator. You have limited time to make a lasting impression. If you speak from your heart about the other person, it'll be memorable. People are always most interested in themselves, so get your message to apply to them.

    2) The Wrapping Paper
Dressing for success is not about using sexuality to gain an upper hand. It's about looking like you've cared for your presentation. The same goes for the presentation of your product. I cancelled my monthly shipment of facial products specifically because they changed the packaging, leaving the beautiful tissue out of the box to save costs. They lost a residual income because they cut corners on my experience. Dress and package for the presentation.

    3) Pulling From Memory
The tobacco industry has perfected selling based on emotional association. Remember a strong, handsome cowboy, and red and black? Even people that don't smoke know
their brand because they associate their product with good feelings and the "Myth of the West".

    Question.
How is your product or service associated with a memorable color, a pleasing smell, a lovely feeling, a valuable memory?

    4) The Color Counts
Have you ever been to a really professional MLM presentation? Did you notice the circles and figures they drew on the board were colored? Did you notice they used green for money, blue for action, black for facts, and they didn't use a red pen? Why? Because, red is for danger, fire, stop lights and overdrafts. What color fits your brand and logo?

    5) Leaving a Mark!
You've seen comedians getting whacked, and barking "That's going to leave a mark!" Your product has to do the same - but it will likely do it over several impressions, meaning that any marketing you do has to be repeated nearly 10 times before the recipient will 'Get It". The advertising progression works like this:

    1) Yeah right! (skepticism)
    2) There it is again!
    3) That ad is everywhere!
    4) It's still here?
    5) Somebody must like it
    6) Wow, it's getting popular
    7) I ought to think about it
    8) That's a successful product
    9) Maybe it'll work for me
    10) Where can I get some?

You get the idea. Repetition makes believers out of skeptics. Keep going, keep going, keep going. Sounds like that Energizer bunny, doesn't it?

    6) Word of Mouth
There's nothing like self-inflating marketing. You might have gotten emails about dancing babies, funny pictures, cute stories and the like. You've heard the "Angeweena" character on the radio show. Women forward her cute comments to their friends, who then hear about MOMtrepreneurs - and women like those featured here. Click to hear Angeweena

    Question.
How can you use the power of word-of-mouth to bring awareness to your offer?

    7) What's in a Name?
Your product and company name is vital. When choosing a name, list as many variations of 'keywords' that you want your prospect to recall. The easier it is for them to associate the name to your product, especially if it brings up emotionally rich images they already have fond feelings for, the closer to a customer they are.

    Question.
Can you find an application for each of the points above for your business?
